Summary of Battles on Day 4 of 1027 Operation Part (2)
28th June, Ta’ang Land News
Up until 7.00 pm 28th June, intense battles are still continuing in Naung Cho, Kyaukme, Hsipaw, Moe Mate and Moe Gok in Ta’ang Land.
(1) Battles erupted between TNLA and the military council’s Operations Control Command-1, Light Infantry Battalion-114 Camp around Gok Dwin, Kyaukme Township, Ta’ang Land in TNLA’s Brigade (2) area on 28th June at 4.14 pm.
(2) TNLA captured various forms of ammunition from Light Infantry Battalion-115 Camp, Naung Cho Township which was attacked and seized on 26th June. Up until 3.50 pm, the allied ground troops of TNLA, MDY-PDF and DPLA are still on the offensive on the military council’s Light Infantry Battalion-606 Camp, the only camp left to be captured in Naung Cho Township. The military council launched airstrikes (4) times with jet fighters around the area from 6.05 am to 6.25 am this morning.
(3) TNLA and its revolutionary allies attacked and captured the military council’s Light Infantry Battalion -114 Camp in Naung Cho Township on 27th June at 9.00 pm.
(4) TNLA and MDY-PDF launched an attack on the military council’s Light Infantry Battalion-501 and 502 Camps in Kyaukme on 28th June at 7.54 am. TNLA also occupied the camp stationed at the crossroads of Naung Pyit Village in Kyaukme on 27th June.
